Bella Brett
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Hi, I’m Bella! I’m a paediatric occupational therapist at Wildflower Kids Therapy.

When I first decided to study a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Southern Cross University, I wasn’t 100% sure what OT really was. Through my studies and clinical placements, I very quickly learnt just how amazing OT is and knew I’d made the right choice. I was lucky enough to complete two placements working with children, which confirmed this was the area I wanted to pursue. I now have over three years of experience working in paediatrics.

I pride myself on my strong sense of empathy and am deeply passionate about helping others in a way that feels authentic to them. A neurodiversity-affirming approach is very important to me, and I strive to ensure my therapy is strengths-based, family-centred, and holistic.
I consider myself to be a “child at heart” who loves to have fun. One of the reasons I love working with children is that it allows me to embrace my own imaginative and creative side.
In my spare time, I enjoy baking and cooking, reading, crocheting, and playing board games.
